Some pretty amazing things are happening in my life. I came home from England--I still can't believe I was even there, my brother got married, then I went to Lake Powell with my fiance and some friends for an entire week and got back just in time to go to school and decide that I would take the semester off.
Lake Powell was a dream. After spending an entire month without my cell phone, a week on water with no wireless connection was a cinch. It was nice to be away again, this time with my fiance. I may consider taking my battery out of my phone on our honeymoon...which we will be taking in about two months because I'm getting married October 28th!! Holy smokes. This marriage stuff is sounding neater and neater the closer I get to it. Who would have ever thought Miss Independent Feminist would ever say that huh?! My mom's fasting and prayers have finally been answered. I decided to take the semester off and work. I did not want to do it, especially after every newlywed told me they wished they would have...I didn't want to be that girl that dropped out of school to get married. Well, I'm glad I made the decision because between work and planning a wedding, I'm already feeling it.
