Dr. Mario was the game of my childhood.
The game of my youth.
Even the game of my single adulthood.
No really.
Growing up, I would have Dr. Mario competitions with my brothers all the time.
I used to stay up until 2 am playing this game only to be matching and stacking colored pills in my dreams the rest of the night. I could even hum the song to you if you asked. Now every July 24th, my family has a HUGE Dr. Mario tournament. Everyone enters and we eat junk and play all day long. It's one of my favorite holidays because of this tradition and I'm so glad I'll finally be in town this summer to WIN!!
It wasn't until Robert and I played each other when we were very first dating that I decided it was okay to broadcast my love and skills of Dr. Mario. I literally kicked his trash on this video game...and to my surprise, it was then and there he knew we were meant for each other.
