...trick or treat?

Treat.
This Halloween I spent the day treating myself to luxury. Because I can!! And because in your twenties all that candy only produces dimples on the thighs or rolls on the belly.
Me no likey.
Instead I decided to devulge in treats that would have a much more positive effect on my body and mind.

Better than dark choclate.
Better than Raisenets.
Better than Good N'Plenty. (now that's saying something)

It could even be better than...you know, but I haven't...you know, so...I can't really say.

ACADYDIA in Provo is the best spa in the valley.
I have been going there since it opened in 2006 and I'm always very happy and satisfied with the services.
It is a school so it is very affordable and the students are always anxious to do their best. The interior of the spa is extremely elegant and regal. Such a nice, relaxing change from the busy atmosphere of downtown Provo.

My hour long Sonya Dakar fitness facial was a dream.
Followed by a Galvanic facial treatment then a Microdermabrasion.

Sonya Dakar is literally one of the leading names in the industry. I haven't been able to find this prestiguous line anywhere and you can purchase the products right at the spa for seriously such a goood price.

Galvanic is a new procedure for me. I had never heard of it. I am always up for trying new things so when it was offered I quickly accepted. It's basically shock therapy for your skin. I held a positive charge while she rolled a negative charge over my face and I could feel little electric pulses under my skin. It rids fine lines, awakens the cells and gets the blood flowing. It is great for sundamage and it even tightens the skin! Some people may not like the feeling of this procedure but I loooved it. I will get it done again.

And then of course, the micro. This is my favorite thing ever. It is thee best way to exfoliate your skin. I've had it done on other parts of my body before in addition to my face. I highly recommend a microdermabrasion treatment. My favorite is the crystal method where they deposit tiny crystals on your face and then suction them off with this little face vaccuum.

After a hair cut, a trip to the MAC counter and then this purchase of cute Betsey Johnson earrings,

I saw a theatrical reading of Dracula at the spooky castle ampitheatre in Provo at midnight.
It was nothing like I had ever seen before. Soo scary and spooky. The theater group that put it on was very impressive. I will be seeing more of their productions in the future.
Check out http://www.mortalfools.org/ It's awesome.

Trick.
